Hailing from the South American metropolis of Lima, Peru, quickly rising talent Alvaro Ernesto returns with his second single for Chillin Music, the practically self-explanatory “Deep For You.”
This exquisite track is filled with airy percussion, lush pads, and gentle key working together to complete a deep house masterpiece. It’s a beautiful cut that harks back to earlier house styles and, indeed, wouldn’t be out of place on a 90′s house imprint like Muzique Tropique.
Floridian studio warlock Q-Burns Abstract Message adds a sprawling feel to his remix, with pulsating disco rhythms surrounded by filtered keys and bright arpeggiations. Its wet sound imagines a dark raft ride through an underground canal.
San Francisco techno stalwart Alland Byallo delivers a remix possessing bold repetition underlying subtle builds and changes, coming together for a bit of a dancefloor monster. Its the sound of several strobe-lights flashing in unison.
Last but not least, Cates&dpL follow their recent successes on Om Records with an atmospheric yet building remix. Subtle melodies are added and an insistent three note bassline supplies extra drive.
It’s another fantastic deep house release from the crew at Chillin Music. Your reactions and support on this release make us happy.
“Chillin Music is on fire at the moment! More sublime house music for release 23, with remixes from some of my favourite producers. It’s really a case of which mix to play each set -- they are all going to get hammered by me. Alland’s is a devilish option while the Cates &dpL Remix takes it off into the spacey, hypnotic vibe. But I think it’s god to be Q-Burns Abstract Message mix -- all of the best elements for the track, with some warm pads thrown in… and that breakdown -- very cool!” Checkpoint Charlie
